Christmas Trees now in. As well as a small selection of all year round gifts we also have a selection of seasonal plants including Hyacinth baskets and Amaryllis which make great gifts. The café will also have a Christmas feel with festive hot chocolate and Christmas Dinner which will be available from Monday 3rd December.

We now have a range of gifts for all the family suitable for any time of year including Christmas.

The High Banks café is to reopen on Monday 26th March in its new location within the shop.

There are a few roses from last season still left at half price.

If you are looking for late seasonal colour this year we still have a good selection of perennials including Echinacea, Coreopsis, Crocosmia and Rudbeckia. For extra seasonal interest we have a variety of grasses available such as Miscanthus.

Now the New Year is well underway its time to start planning your gardening year.  We have Seed Potatoes, Onions, Shallots and Garlic. Our Summer Bulbs are due in next week and it pays to come in early so as not to be disappointed.  This years trees including fruit trees are in and we are expecting a fresh supply of shrubs in the middle of next month. We still have a good selection of our recently potted up roses and a good supply of bareroot hedging.

We have a selection of gifts, cards and National Garden Gift Vouchers. Christmas decorations, Christmas lights, artificial Christmas trees and Christmas tree stands available now. Nordman and Blue Spruce Christmas trees in a variety of sizes have just arrived as well as a limited number of potted christmas trees.

We now have the first of our Summer bulbs as well as Onions, Shallots, Garlic and Seed Potatoes. If you are after something specific such as Pink Fir Apple Seed Potatoes please don't leave it till the last minute as some varieties are not always available later on.

Happy New Year to all our customers!  We hope you had a lovely one.  Despite the dreary weather it is a good time to pop in to the nursery!  The new seasons roses are all potted and ready so now is the time to come and get your pick of the most popular varieties!  We also have some great new trees in stock such as Acer 'Crimson Sentry' and some Catalpa bignonioides 'Aurea'.  Plenty of bare rooted hedging plants also still available.  Seed potatos are due in a few weeks time!

What a busy season it has been!  The overcast weather has dropped the temperature a bit but we still need some heavy rain to get the ground workable again!  We have a beautiful selection of Hydrageas on the nursery at the moment...please see the Gallery for pictures!  Garden Mums soon to be here and we still have some lovely bedding Geraniums and Begonias in stock!

We have some lovely large Cherry Laurels in stock now at the nursery, 5ft tall for only £17.95!  Also in this week, Iberis Masterpiece (amazing!), Cerastium Tormentosum, Arbutus Unedo, Actinidia Kolomikta, Dicentra Spectabilis 'Valentine' and some beautiful Alstroemeria!

The nursery is fully stocked up with summer bedding of all types and colours!  We are now taking orders for hanging baskets!  Bring in yours to be topped up this weekend!  Lots of beautiful Toscana Geraniums of all colours in stock too...get them while they last at just £3.75 each!

We have a large selection of veg and bedding now in stock, the perennial and shrub beds are also looking fantastic at the moment!  Please note we are not open on Easter Sunday but open every other day as usual!

We have the first lot of summer bedding plants in!  Ivy Leaf Geraniums, Million Bells, Fuchsia, Bacopa, also a great selection of early veg including Toms, Cucumber, Courgette, Carrots, Peas, Beans and more!

We have thousands of top quality shrubs, trees and perennials all looking great on the nursery at the moment!  Also we will have a great range of fruit trees including apples, pears, cherries and plums!  Come and find us this weekend!

Has been forecast!  We have a great selection of fresh herbs in at just £1.99 each as well as a great spread of alpines as well including some Aubretia in bud and flower!

And we have lots of lovely shrubs and perennials looking good! Heuchera Marmalade and Silver Scrolls are looking great right now as well as some stunning large Hellebores!  Fresh in today we also have a huge range of new season herbs and alpines in 9cm pots for just £1.99 each!

We have some stunning Sarcococca 'Purple Stem' in stock at the moment, large bushy plants in a 4L pot at just £16.75...the scent is amazing!  See the Gallery for some pictures along with some of the other flowering plants currently on show at High Banks.

It's that time of year again folks, the remaining stock of roses for this season have been cut back and are now available at 50% off retail price...even David Austins!  This means you can get a top quality Rose for around £3-4 while stocks last!

The nights are starting to get colder!  We have a selection of stoves on show at High Banks now, there are still some spring bulbs left in stock, daffs, tulips and more!  As always there is also a great selection of winter bedding; pansies, violas, primroses (some lovely doubles!) and some lovely winter heathers.

We have a new pet shop here at High Banks!  A large range of foods, beds, toys and more for all your pet's needs!

Yet another sunny hot day!  Everything is in full swing here at High Banks, looking particularly good this week are the roses, most of which are in bud and flower.  David Austin varieties are available from as little as £10.95!  Also looking great are the Hydrangeas and the Salvias which are smothered in beautiful purple flowers...the bees love them!

It has been a bit hit and miss weather wise lately but we have taken in some new stock again at High Banks.  We now have a great selection of Echinaceas as well as some larger Wisteria specimens at £39.99 looking really good at the moment!

And lots of it!  We have a great selection of Dahlias in the nursery at the moment as well as our usual selection of summer bedding, perennials, shrubs and trees all looking great.  Pop in and find us over the weekend to brighten up your garden!

What an amazing weekend of weather!  Everything is coming to life on the nursery so come in to sort out your bedding, shrubs and perennials!  The trees are also now leafing up nicely and we have many flowering cherries available.  We still have a few seed potatoes left and the season is a good month behind schedule so there is still time to plant them!

After a busy weekend we are stocking up again this week, there will be more bedding coming in as well as more veg plants and also a big shrub delivery that includes Scabious, Escallonia, Berberis and much more!
